Thank you for the video, I was wondering the same thing. I have done the install about 5 times at nite when i go to bed. I have found myself maybe less sstressed out about a very stressful situation, Mom had to have emergency surgery 4 days ago,Normaly I would have been freaking out, not knowing what to do because she is in my care. I have stayed centered and aware of just what the steps are when caring for someone ,in this situation. I have the confidence that I have thought of everything to care for her at home for awhile and am sure I can do it,and have her back on her feet in no time. so confidence is what I needed and tha is how I feel now. Thank you

My experience so far is I have been listening to it once a day when I am awake. Then every night when I go to sleep I put on earbuds and go to sleep listening to it and wakeup to it. I cannot say what the results are concretely I feel different within my sense of self yet have been doing many mind gymnastic softwares thru the years so this is known . This one tho is kind of more centering in what I find as source and the default state or what ‘ I” am when I am present. It has me feeling a much different resonance in what appears to be reality. It is somehow opening areas of feeling into myself and the other in different ways.I sense a deepening in my intimacy and love connection. I will keep you informed. I find the use of it at night has also really shifted my lucid dreaming to a new level and finding this waking dream we agree on as ‘life’ somehow more compatible with the night ones.Feeling wobbly maybe in the sense of feeling what were limitations now become opportunities and when i act on them new spaces open that were not there before. Since I am a painter and writer it appears thru my work as well as my life….Again thank you for this gift and tool to wakeup…to what is…

The Default often comes with increased skill in the Dreaming. I attribute this to the fact that in your Default, you’re at a level of awareness that is deep enough that it’s possible to maintain continuous awareness in both waking and dreaming life.

I’m going to answer with something that the smartest man I’ve ever met said to me.
I was at Howard Bloom’s house – if you can call it that. He doesn’t. He calls it an information nest or some such thing. It’s a library of media with cassette tapes, VHS, DVD’s, computers, televisions and any other kind of information carrying device you could imagine spilling from every nook in every corner.
He said when he’s not writing or researching or teaching or leading groups he’s almost always intaking information – even when he sleeps. At that point I looked next to his bed and took in the two computers that have nightlong science podcasts queued up for him to listen to while he sleeps.
‘Do you retain information you get while you’re sleeping?’ I asked.
“No,” he replied, “but I FEEL like I’m learning.”
I’m not much for subliminals and sleep work – but I have a number of people who say that IIG yields massive results when played at night – so, have at it!

Devon… I feel it is not subliminal or sleep work as such , its only consciousness at a more subtle level.One where the ‘Default ‘ state or beingness is as much now here or it is nowhere. Maybe both are true energetically. Using this at night sets up an ambience where when awakening for what passes for sleep one is saturated with the journey into the default state and comes out of the nught time dream into this one almost semalessly. At night in sleep there is no resistance …no mind…to censor or dialog so in some unknown ways the effects of the work are maybe even more powerful… Thanks for the work….M
how do i approach my hesitancy to the auditory side of Installing Inner Game? I seem to want to hear soft tunes and rythms; instead I feel jolted and to a degree disturbed by the loudness and the pounding. I am sure there is a purpose for it. I want to walk through it and surrender, but t this point am hesitating…

When Kiela and I worked on Installing Inner Game it was with the intention of eliciting responses from the lower chakras as well as the upper chakras.
Most audio in the domain of ’self-improvement’ only engages ’spiritual’ frequencies. The work I do is specifically designed for people who want to engage in the bloody fray of life rather than retreat into a monastic lifestyle or only be able to be in their Default while the sun is shining and everything is going their way.
Cacophony in parts of IIG was deliberate. For my more advanced students I often challenge them with maintaining their Default while engaged in rigorous activity or stressful situations. Ultimately, I want you to be able to be ‘at your best’ no matter what’s going on.
That said, if parts of it are too much for you – skip them. There is a wide array of soundscapes in IIG and many of them are really mellow and probably much easier to surrender into.

Devon…I thought I would address one area of shift that I noticed . It seemed so subtle that I almost was tempted to overlook it as coincidences yet I know we both know in reality there are none.
Things around me that I have no current attachment to yet have desired to happen with other people begin to just ‘happen’. Like a friend of mine wanting her to change her destructive diet for years that was making her sick. Giving up the wanting and not pushing for anything she did it on her own in her own way. A friend I did not see for years out of nowhere is coming to visit for three days I had wanted us to meet yet there was no way she could come visit got a free train ticket. Subtle changes in giving up fighting for something allows them to come.Just wanted to share this realm of opening with you.

While I’m not sure I could ever market IIG as something that helps align people with the universe THAT is really what it’s all about.
When you’re in your Default, synchronicities begin occurring with significantly greater frequency. Your ability to co-create reality is augmented and certainly reaches well beyond the levels of awareness and intentionality most people are used to considering. Hopefully your comment spurs on other people to notice where and when this is happening for them.

Sleep seems to be a common occurrence for a number of people that listen to IIG. So – yes, perfectly normal.
As for the video – I’m not sure. It’s working fine on all three computers at my place.

I thought it was interesting that the first time I listened to IIG before I fell asleep, I had a dream that I was getting a tour of this beautiful home. At some point I realized that the home had the same floor plan as the home I grew up in. The difference was, that it had higher ceilings, the rooms were bigger… and it was pretty much a new home. The colors were prettier and more appealing to me…. Guess it’s my default. In the dream work that I follow, a home is the self. Imagine that! : ) Thanks for the incredible work…I’m combining it with a daily kundalini yoga practice and my own silent meditation. Amazing things are happening in my life and within myself and my relationships. I’m grateful that you have been so inspired and connected to bring this gift to the planet : )

I’ve been listening to installing inner game for half a year now. Got to the default few times. It was euphoric but the problem is IIG doesn’t mget me into the default anymore. Maybe because IIG isn’t in my home language?

Unless you’re at the point where you are embodying every sentence in IIG, there’s still plenty to get out of it.
The main question is, “what do you want?”
Following that I’m going to quote Tivo from a comment below. He’s been using IIG for over a year and is still going strong. Here’s what he has to say:

1) Presume and experience that the Default is getting deeper, easier, more useful with every experience before the experience;
2) Make it a natural ritual to deepen the meaning; e.g. for the sake of what are you doing this? Deeper life/more authenticity/greater aliveness;
3) Explore the following inquiry while listening: if this isn’t the deepest experience and beyond of your life-time what would have to be true of you for this to be true for you.
4) Generate a story that’s in alignment when you’re in your Default of how deep, easy and well this works.

After reading all the comments, seeing your video’s etc ..i really do believe that it works!!! BUT…wowww….i feel a little scared. I have done heaps of work in the last year releasing blocked energy, old trauma etc etc and have been feeling so so great. I read all the stuff about the inner game and i thought FAB..i can feel even better. I listened for the first time last night……i’ve woken up feeling like i’ve been run over and very very spacey! I had bizzare dreams ( I never usually remember dreams …ever!) …and my usual way of feeling great and ready for my day…..is very subdued???…..i feel a bit scared about listening again???….is this normal???

Hi Suzanne,
We’ve definitely had some people who experienced things that were outside of what I was intending when I originally designed IIG. That said, I think every person who has told me about experiences that began with discomfort ended with a net gain of very positive results.
Oftentimes when I work with private clients, by the end of our time together they are psychically and physically exhausted. IIG is the same. The work is extremely deep and therefore intensive and intense. The work I do is designed to reset and reorganize the entire system to make it so that you are totally and completely well-formed. Sometimes that means major shake-ups! So, feeling like you’ve been run over or are out of sorts is totally normal.
That said, one of the fundamental premises of all my work is to obey your primal instincts. That’s true in this case as well. If you feel that for some reason, IIG is just not for you, my recommendation is to stop.
At the same time, it’s probably worth listening to while you’re awake and aware. I’m almost certain it will have very different results and if there are places that you feel an discomfort you can skip them. Or, perhaps take it just a few minutes at a time. The most important stuff starts about 15 minutes in.

A big thank you for the Inner Game. I want to share some experiences:
1: I am recovering from some severe 3 year long back-illness and still have lots of muscles tensions due to current and old pain. And the body seems to have been stuck into these patterns of muscletensions, so though the pain is less, the muscles still acts as if it´s worse, than it is, which actually creates pain or adds to them, yikes!
I am very experienced in inner work, but due to the pain-tensions, I have been unable to relax enough in the body to regain the default state I know from before the illness, where I climbed the Himalayas in my inner world! And from were I was able to program my body and mind. I somewhat “lost” that during these three years.
This Inner Game is finally DOING IT! I am able to get around the muscle tensions and into the state, where I am able to relax and release the tensions. Both when listening and during the day. During the day it´s more subtle, like the body constantly seeks the default and now found a tiny path to travel by to regain balance. This is truly a relief for me! And I want to add that the more loud passages of the music is pawing their way through the tensions. Yeah!
2: Constantly during the day I am becoming aware if old negative thoughts pops into my mind or if I talk in a away, that do not supports the best in me or others. The same inner response come from negative blablanews on TV. I didn´t watch much TV before, but now it´s close to uncomfortable to watch TV, unless of course it´s some nice nature show or the like.
3: I have become aware too, that old negative thoughtforms adds to the muscle-tensions of pain. So when the muscles are tense I just do a check on my thoughts and my body posture to correct things. Or the body-mind seeks this check by itself.
So overall I feel, that my body and mind now is cooperating in regaining the lost balance. That is really a great relief to finally find a key, that works! I have done some searching for sure!
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this IIG available for everyone, paying or not. I am used to cure myself, but this nut I could not crack untill IIG came around.
This became a long rant, but sharing my experiences with you, is the way I am able pay you right now. So Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!!!

Thank you! This is exactly what IIG was intended for and I couldn’t be happier that you’re getting so much mileage out of it. So your ‘rant’ is very much appreciated.
You literally walked through a number of the exact intentions I had when developing IIG.
1. Reset, revivify, and re-energize awareness of the body and muscles.
2. Create effects that last beyond the install, results that continue unfolding for weeks after each listen. Have these results make people more aware of what is and is not a fit for them, what helps them become more deeply themselves.
3. Give people a simple reset so that every time they notice they are getting tense or out of sorts they have a very simple thing to do- go to their Default. And it works!

I am amazed at the power of IIG. There is something to its simplicity. My question is if the Inner Game and “resetting to default” are like the vortex that Abraham-Hicks teaches about. The concept feels the same, but I wanted to get your thoughts. Thanks so much.

I’m glad IIG is powerful for you. With regard to Abraham-Hicks I’m not sure because I’m not familiar with the work.
In the Human Operating System* (of which IIG is a part) there are three fundamental states:
The Default is the first of those states.
The second is the state of Connection. (This state is akin to universal love, God, agape, connection with Nature, others, etc, being in love, connection with a child.)
The third state is the state of Purpose. Purpose is basically the synthesis of the first two states. Though in reality, neurologically, it is a very rapid oscillation between the first two states. When in the state of Purpose, an individual will have a sense of their own life’s purpose.

I find that it’s deeply useful to continue to drop wonderful, amazing experiences into the reference point of the Default. I listen to Inner Game everyday and I had one question. Now after reading these posts I have two questions. My first question is when you say in IIG about noticing what I am feeling first as I slip into default. You say several sentences that you leave the answer blank, like “First I notice……..” “Then I notice……..” When I am listening to IIG I feel very relaxed but I don’t feel anybody part specifically and I don’t know what I am doing in my default. So everytime I hear these blanks for answers my mind fills it in with , “I don’t know” I get a bit scared that maybe I am not getting the benefit out of it or that maybe I won’t reach my default state if I can’t fill in the blanks. Am I doing something wrong? I am on a journey to reconnect with intense and deeply buried feelings and I have been disconnected from my body for most of my life so this inability to fill in the blanks has me thinking I am not successfully reconnecting.
I remember my moments when I was in default in the past and it is excatly as you describe it, and I remember the awesome feeling of it fitting like a glove, but I don’t remember what my body was doing at the time. What should I do?
The second question has to do with the blogger who said she sleeps while she listens. Everytime I listen to IIG I get so spaced out that I lose consciousness everytime and wake up and the playback is over. Even before I get knocked out I get so spacey that I am not consciously listening to chunks of it. I assumed this was the install working its ‘magic’. Should I try and stay awake more?

As for staying awake – definitely do some listens while awake and aware. Both ways are fine and lots of people are having profound experiences listening while asleep. That said, you should try to hear the entire thing while awake at some point. That can be in pieces or all at once, but it was designed to be heard in full awareness at least once.

I have now listened to it for 6 times, and I have read through the blog and listened to the video searching for something to assure me that what I have been experiencing and feeling is part of this??? The wobbly feeling you have been expressing could that mean or translate into anger, frustration, uncertainty…that turns into a deep answer about one’s truth.
This last time I woke up tired, stressed, and irritated, flipping through thoughts, chunking a lot of them out, about to delete the whole game in feeling so turned upside down. When just a few minutes ago I got this aha moment, over why I am currently stalled in my life. A deep peace settling through me over the fact that the current stagnation, was just me keeping me from going against what I now realize is what I have always dreamed and believed to be my direction…my core desire, dream.

oops. I submitted this a couple of days ago, but here goes again.
The term ‘lock in’ for setting the default seems confining and constrictive. Why not words like, ’securely confirmed’?
I found the ILG very surprising. The first day after taking in IlG, I went out into the country, enjoying the sun and read until dusk. (usually too busy to spend hours outdoors!) The
next morning I awoke having had fantastic dreams which showed me the state of my son when he was born, my own state at birth
and the state of my brother in law. These states related to the
type of family we were born into, as well as the state of the parents at conception. I also found my feelings had changed enormously and I felt free, at ease and full of goodwill even to those who did not always have goodwill towards me. Three days later I was attacked by shooting pains in the head on and off for a whole day. In the meantime, I was suddenly working very hard and in achieving mode. But being a writer and researcher, I had to look into the work of Devon’s mentor and trace the ancestry of this work in order to know whether this work has substance or not. It appears to me that it has.
I am preparing lists of people I want to pass this work on to.

I have been driving in a Defalt manner for years…inwardly guided moment to moment….Now with the default way of understanding this I’m haveing cat like reflexes that are much more focused ..I know that it is due to Installing the Inner Game concepts…I was speaking to a great Swami I know and I said out loud about myself and,”old issues”…they were never who I was in the first place.”
