Hey E,

Here are some of my reflections in supporting you to go directly, more easily and readily into your Default.

Start with what's working: you say that you are able to relax...when relaxed orient there, go deeper, direct yourself for this to go deeper, for this to be easy and you may want to pull in the experience of flow that you have with playing sports.

Expect for the Default to be connected to your experience of flow and focus and be with the experience as it defaults. Right after an experience you may want to listen again if you haven't to the installing Default video here. There's alot of suggestions there that you can choose from the orientation of this is a fit/match with me going deeper.

Let me know how this serves you and supports you going deeper.

Best,

I'm not sure if I'm adding this to the correct thread, BUT...

I tried installing inner game for the first time on Thursday night -I didn't doze-off, but I definitely experienced a different level of consciousness.

I listened again on Friday after my early-morning yoga practice ...then I went about my day. At about noon'ish I noticed that I felt as if I was cooperating with -rather than struggling against / fighting with my body -for the first time ever (or, at least that I can recall). It was the coolest feeling of being "at home" in my body ...it was like I was "one" with it: I'd spent my entire life up to that point feeling as if I was trapped in a body that was too "this" or "that".

I listened again Friday night ...and then again this morning. Presently, I experience my "self" (my "centre") to be located in my centre of gravity point (located in my pelvis) -but I experience that place as being infinitely vast (despite the fact that on the physical plane, it's "within" my body) ...actually, it kind of feels like I AM that place of infinite vastness.

I'm truly thankful Devon ^.^ THIS EXPERIENCE ROCKS!!!

Hi Devon,

I have a question about the getting in the default state. When I listen to the track, I don't feel like I am in the default. I am really relaxed- which is nice-, but I am easily distracted and not completely in the moment. When I'm in the zone when playing sports, everything is much clearer and I get the sense that everything is possible. I don't experience this when I listen to the track.

Do you have tips or thoughts about this?

I have no experience with meditation or anything alike, so maybe I just need more practice.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge,
E

I have read a couple of comments about how people have had problems with the voices or sounds recorded on the inner game program. Interestingly enough, I used to have that problem until I realize that when the 'self-defeating' part of my personality really wanted to defeat me, it made sure I hated the sounds and voices of any 'personal growth program' that was carrying the very information I needed to hear the most. Since realizing how I sabotaged myself in the past I have not had that problem again. - Frederick Zappone

Honest feedback is always appreciated. And that guy's voice - i know! Try living with it!

Anyway, thanks for taking it for a spin.

I'm guessing that this isn't what you want to hear; however, I believe in honest feedback. I tried three times to listen to the recording and I couldn't get through it each time. I was too focused on how much I didn't like the sound track as well as the male voice on the recording. It just doesn't work for me. I'm glad to hear that it is helping other people, though.

Thank you for your reply and your enthusiasm, Devon!

As very young athlete (swimmer), I learned not to feel my body to avoid feeling the pain of pushing myself. Now, daily, I learn new information about my body and muscles. Yesterday, I hit a roller on my skies, launched myself, and thought 'W-t-(heck)! Where did all that power come from?' Wheee!

This'd be a great secret weapon for mtb racing, if I weren't telling everyone about it. I'm already finding measurable increases in performance within my default state. Those who are open to it are gorgeous, and the naysayers are hysterical.

What a ride.

Now I am learning to recognize my shifts by the slight changes in muscle tension and sometimes even BEFORE i have time to associate a thought or label to the shift. This gives me a chance to reconnect to the default flow without straying too far off my perfect path. I even notice that its starting to become very natural to just suddenly readjust and relax without any cognizant efforts at all. It just happens and then i realize i did it without thinking to do it….

Rainey - this is EXACTLY how it is intended to work. Perfect. I couldn't be happier to read your description. For a while people work to reset into it. And then eventually, they're in it so much that they begin to notice what pulls them out of it. Then, as soon as they start getting pulled from their Default - they are adjusting and maintaining the integrity of their own perfection without a thought.

Thanks for the inspiration!

'Could it be I've never really felt my legs?'

Amazing. And I can't wait to see how being in your Default effects your mountain bike racing! Actually Andria, being in your Default and doing strenuous activities - like mountain bike racing - is one of the best ways to strengthen the literal and metaphorical muscles of your Default.

The more intense the situation you are able to maintain your Default - the more anything less intense will be a cake walk.

Rock On!
